How they move

Which Farndon suits you?

Fixed

It doesn't recline: a classic, upright seat.

Manual recliner

Pull the catch on the side and lean back: the footrest comes up. No motor, no plug.

Power recliner

Reclines at the touch of a button.

Riser recliner, single motor

One motor reclines it, and rises to help you to your feet.

Riser recliner, dual motor

The back and the footrest move on their own, and it rises to help you up.

Tilt-in-space riser

Also tilts the whole seat back, taking the weight off your back.
